Recipe Friday!

Dori & I got to talking about posting a new recipe every Friday on our blogs to share with everyone who reads them! If you want to join in that would be so FREAKING FUN! So here is my Recipe my kids love this it's fast easy (I do cheat a little) and I made it up my self...

My version of Chicken Alfredo
2 cans of Chicken (you can cook your chicken if you want)
1 box of Pasta (I use bow tie or cork screw)
2 jars of the Alfredo Sauce
( you can also add Broccoli, mushrooms or be creative)

Boil pasta, fry the chicken in separate pan (I add seasons like garlic and pepper). Drain Pasta, add chicken then sauce & any extras you might have to the pasta. Mix well then serve and enjoy...

Sad News

Please join me in remembering a great icon of the entertainment community. The Pillsbury Doughboy died yesterday of a yeast infection and trauma complications from repeated pokes in the belly. He was 71. Doughboy was buried in a lightly greased coffin. Dozens of celebrities turned out to pay their respects, including Mrs. Butterworth, Hungry Jack, the Raisins, Betty Crocker, the Hostess Twinkies, and Captain Crunch. The grave site was piled high with flours. Aunt Jemima delivered the eulogy and lovingly described Doughboy as a man who never knew how much he was kneaded. Doughboy rose quickly in show business, but his later life was filled with turnovers. He was not considered a very smart cookie, wasting much of his dough on half-baked schemes. Despite being a little flaky at times, he still was a crusty Old man and was considered a positive roll model for millions. Doughboy is survived by his wife Play Dough, three children: John Dough, Jane Dough and Dosey Dough, plus they had one in the oven. He is also survived by his elderly father, Pop Tart. The funeral was held at 3:50 for about 20 minutes.

My new name is Bobby Joe!!!!

My trip down to the valley on Wednesday night was very eventfull! Driving past Miami my back passenger window was shot out by a person who thought it would be fun to shoot a BB gun at passing cars. I pulled over to get Daniel out of the glass that shatterd on him and called 911. A few min after the police got to me another car pulled in and said he too was shot at and his front passenger widonw was shattered. They never found the guy! All I can say is I'm glad my kids were not hurt and thank goodness for Duct Tape!

On my way home from the valley late Monday night I was about 45 miles from Payson and my Slide Board under my car broke. Sparks were a fly'n...I used the tape I had to try and fix it but it broke off again aprox 15 miles from Payson. I drove 5 miles per hour in the emergency lane until I got to Circle K in Payson and got some heavy duty Duct Tape. I drove no more than 45 miles per hr. all the way home that night. I left the valley for home at 9:30 that night and got home at 2:00 the next morning. That was the longest drive ever!!! I am very grateful that I made it home with my kids and my car safe...

Again thank goodness for DUCT TAPE!!!

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween to everyone! I was just sitting here wondering what am I going to do for costumes for my children. I did a google search and found this web site. They have so many fun ideas that you can make at home (like any of us has the time). I think it would be fun to sit down with my children and pick out a costume and then have them help me get the items to make their costume instead of me spenidng money (I dont have) on a costume that will be in my way the other 364 days of the year. Have Fun!!!
